Montrail Davis is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University where he earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree. While there he majored in marketing and minored in management. He used the skills and knowledge he gained to enter the sales and finance industry. After five years of doing corporate work he decided to change to a profession that was more meaningful to him.
Ashley is a proud Navy wife and mom to 3 awesome kids. She attended Stephen F Austin State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and is currently enrolled at Lamar University in their Masters of Educational Leadership program.
Ashere’ Thigpen began her career in public education over 10 years ago. Her passion is to inspire, equip, and build communities towards racial unity. She believes in teaching students how to advocate for themselves and educating teachers on culturally responsive practices.
My calling into the teaching field began way before I was born. For as long back as my family history goes, we have been educators and administrators for all children of many different backgrounds. In my over 20 years of experience, I have taught in computer labs, math classrooms, special education, and coached basketball. The common theme across all grade levels of students is the need for positive relationships with their teachers.
Brianna attended the University of the Incarnate Word, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a double minor in reading and special education. She began her teaching career in Plano ISD in 2018 as an elementary special education teacher and still holds that same position.
Kenya will be entering her 17th year in education as a Business and AVID teacher in Plano ISD. With a Bachelors in Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin and a Masters in Education from Concordia University Austin, Kenya's purpose is to empower all students to realize their goals and dreams. Kenya is the wife of Anthony Forrest and the mother of three sons. Kenya's educational philosophy is grounded in this statement: "To be a great teacher is to be a great student. Strive to solve problems, study past mistakes, and never stop learning"
Kim attended Stephen F. Austin State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She later attended Amberton University where she received her Masters degree in School Counseling. Kim has been in the education field for 17 years, serving as a teacher for 8 years and currently as a school counselor for the last 9. Kim joined Plano ISD in 2017.
Mrs. Amy Johnson is a native of El Dorado, a small town in south Arkansas, and she attended Louisiana Tech University for both her bachelor's and master's degrees. She is married with two sons who attended Plano schools and who are now in college. The 2020 - 2021 school year marks her 18th year as an English Language Arts teacher.

Rosolayn Johnson (aka Ros) has been in education for 14 years. As an Academic Specialist, Ros works as a Section 504 Coordinator who specializes in supporting all learners. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from esteemed HBCU Langston University and a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Texas. When she is not advocating for the rights of others, she is enjoying travels with her husband, Jay, and her four children.
