He used the skills and knowledge he gained to enter the sales and finance industry. After five years of doing corporate work he decided to change to a profession that was more meaningful to him.

She later attended Amberton University where she received her Masters degree in School Counseling. Kim has been in the education field for 17 years, serving as a teacher for 8 years and currently as a school counselor for the last 9. Kim joined Plano ISD in 2017.

Mrs. Amy Johnson is a native of El Dorado, a small town in south Arkansas, and she attended Louisiana Tech University for both her bachelor's and master's degrees. She is married with two sons who attended Plano schools and who are now in college. The 2020 - 2021 school year marks her 18th year as an English Language Arts teacher.

Rosolayn Johnson (aka Ros) has been in education for 14 years. As an Academic Specialist, Ros works as a Section 504 Coordinator who specializes in supporting all learners. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from esteemed HBCU Langston University and a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Texas. When she is not advocating for the rights of others, she is enjoying travels with her husband, Jay, and her four children.
